Gardening is more than a hobby for me. As a retired Executive chef I garden for fun. I have 3 perrenial garden flower beds and a huge vegetable garden. I planted way to much lettuce this year5, so I have fresh salads every night of the week which barely dents my garden.
Berries and an orchard. I have some 200 feet of raspberries and blackberries. A corner in the garden of currants and gooseberries- make jams and pies.
Oh ya- an orchard all dwarf fruit trees-apricot , two peach trees loaded this year, a plum, and two apples, old world gravenstein-very tart pie apple, and a johnathan.
I now own and operate a landscaping company and do formal japanese gardens, perrenial flower gardens , and a lot of drip irrigation projects.
Best
